The GMI is organizing the Bible Land Mission Study Tour frequently since more than two decades. In this programme, usually, the Bible lands, that is, Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine are visited with a group of people led by the Rev.Dr.D.J.Ajith Kumar. This is to explore the history, culture and geography ofthe biblical said lands. Generally, the duration of the programme is 11-12 days. Another travel is for Turkey, Greece and Rome. This is to cover the early church history of the churches planted and ministered by the early Apostles like St.Paul, St.Peter and St.John. Itinerary

Generally we follow this itinerary. But this is a tentative itinerary, it may be changed according to the circumstances of the countries we visit.

Day 1

Kochi- Amman via Muscat Air Port. Arrival at Amman Airport and proceed to the hotel. Dinner at Hotel and stay overnight at Jordan, Amman.

Day 2

Breakfast at Hotel; visit Madaba, Mount Nebo, travel through Kings Highway by Bus to the Boarder of Israel crossing the Sheikh Husain bridge of Jordan river. After completing immigration and entry procedures, travel to Nazareth by another Bus. Lunch at Nazareth, visit Nazareth Basilica of the Annunciation, Joseph’s workshop, and check in hotel and dinner and overnight stay in the hotel at Nazareth.

Day.3

Breakfast at Hotel, visit Cana, Tabor, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Tabga, Peter’s primacy/Menza Christy, Lunch, Boating in Sea of Galilee, Yardenit/Jordan river, Back to Hotel, Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast at Hotel, Checkout from Nazareth, Travel to Haifa, view of Bahai garden, Mount Carmel /Muhraqa, Lunch, Joppa, St.Peter’s Church at Jopa, House of Simon the taner, View of Mediterranean sea, Jopa port,  travel via Caesarea, Emmaus via Tel Aviv, Check in Hotel at Bethlehem, dinner in Bethlehem, stay overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 5

Breakfast in the hotel, Church of Nativity at Bethlehem, Beithsahore/ shepherd’s field, Jeriho, Mount of Temptation, Sycamore Tree, Lunch at Jericho or Qumran,Dead sea, Bethanya, Lazarus Tomb, En Karim, Church of visitation,  Wailing wall in Jerusalem, Dinner hotel, overstay at Hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 6

Breakfast in the hotel, Dome of the Rock, Garden Tomb, Holy Communion, Golgotha, Beithasda, via Dolorosa, Holy Sepulchar, Upper room/last supper room, king David’s tomb, Lunch, Mount of olives, Gathsemne, Pater Noster, Dominesflevit, Tomb of St.Mary, Church of St.Peter of Gallicantu, Hotel, Dinner at Hotel, Stay in Hotel at Bethlehem.

Day 7

Breakfast Hotel, Check out, Proceed to Taba, Lot’s Wife, Qumran, Taba boarder, exit from Israel and entry to Egypt Lunch in Taba, visit Red sea, Dinner at Hotel, overnight stay in the Hotel/Resort at Taba.

Day 8

Check out from the Hotel at Taba, Breakfast, visit St. Catherine Monastery, Mount of Sinai, Burning bush, travel to Cairo through Suez Tunnel, Lunch on the way, Dinner in Cairo, overnight in the hotel at Cairo.

Day 9

Breakfast, Pyramids, Sphinx, Old Church in Cairo, Egyptian perfume factory, Papyrus factory, Lunch, Nile Cruise, Dinner, Stay at Hotel.

Day 10

Breakfast, Checkout, visit Pharaonic village, Lunch, proceed to Cairo Airport, Cairo – Muscat, Kochi.

Day 11

Arrival at Kochi Airport.
